Abstract

Today, the use of digital educational technologies and tools in the higher education system is one of the main means of improving learning efficiency. This article proposes a methodology for developing students' practical competencies based on the integration of generative artificial intelligence tools and the Cisco Packet Tracer software environment in teaching the discipline "Computer Networks." The article analyzes the capabilities of modern digital educational technologies. Mechanisms have been developed for forming individual assignments during the lesson using generative AI, automatic analysis of network configurations, and conducting practical laboratory classes. The experimental results showed that the proposed methodology significantly improves students' practical skills, develops their ability to work independently, and enhances their competencies in configuring network devices.
