This article examines the methodological framework for enhancing the effective management of accounts receivable and accounts payable in enterprises. The relevance of the study is determined by the significant impact of receivables and payables on an enterprise’s liquidity, solvency, financial stability, and cash flow management. The purpose of the study is to develop an improved methodological approach to managing accounts receivable and accounts payable aimed at increasing the efficiency of financial resource utilization and reducing payment-related risks. The study applies a systematic approach, financial analysis, comparative analysis, ratio analysis, dynamic analysis, and economic-statistical methods. Particular attention is given to the comprehensive assessment of the volume, structure, maturity, turnover, and cash-flow implications of receivables and payables. The study substantiates the need to strengthen monitoring mechanisms, assess the creditworthiness of counterparties, manage overdue debts, and optimize enterprise credit policies. Based on the findings, methodological recommendations are proposed for improving the management mechanism of accounts receivable and accounts payable. The proposed approach contributes to strengthening financial stability, improving the efficiency of working capital utilization, maintaining liquidity, and minimizing payment risks in enterprises.
