Abstract

This article examines four interrelated research contributions to improving the institutional framework for entrepreneurial risk insurance. It integrates functional instruments for aligning insurance premiums and the composition of insurance products with risk exposure; econometric assessment of the relationship between portfolio composition and insurers’ profitability; an institutional mechanism governing relations between insurers and business entities; and a comprehensive modernisation approach encompassing marketing, customer service, flexible pricing, and operational transparency. The analysis draws on insurance-market indicators for 2022–2025, regression estimates, and reported implementation outcomes. Taken together, these findings provide an integrated framework connecting risk assessment and product design with portfolio profitability and the institutional quality of insurance services [1].
