This article provides a theoretical and pedagogical analysis of the role and methodological significance of individualized instruction in the preparation of professional instrumental performers. A distinctive feature of instrumental education is that students demonstrate individual differences in musical abilities, performance techniques, auditory perception, musical memory, artistic thinking, creative potential, and psychological readiness. Therefore, professional performer training requires not only general pedagogical principles but also careful consideration of each student’s individual developmental potential. The article examines the role of individualized instruction in developing performance mastery, independent practice, repertoire selection, musical interpretation, stage preparation, and professional competence. Particular attention is given to the integration of individualized instruction with the ustoz-shogird tradition, reflective practice, and modern digital educational tools.
