The author explores the concept of socio-historical integrity based on a systems approach and proposes a paradigm of "dialectical-cultural understanding" of history. The article highlights the role of historical narrativity and ancestral heritage in the development of national identity, as well as the correlation between formational and civilizational approaches within the context of the views of Eastern and Western thinkers and contemporary researchers.
