Abstract

This article provides a scientific and theoretical analysis of the impact of developing teachers’ professional competence on the effectiveness of the educational process. It highlights the role of teachers in the modern education system and defines pedagogical competence and professional mastery as key factors in improving the quality of education. The study also substantiates the importance of teachers’ innovative activity, skills in using pedagogical technologies, and the process of professional development within the competency-based approach. Based on the analysis of scientific literature, the mechanisms for improving educational effectiveness through the development of professional mastery are revealed. As a result, it is emphasized that a professionally competent teacher is a decisive factor in ensuring effective organization of the educational process, developing students’ independent thinking, and achieving high-quality learning outcomes.
